Survey of Ships’ Hulls, Cargo Handling Machinery, Propulsion Machinery & Appurtenances
The purpose of this survey (“On-Hire Survey” or “Off-Hire Survey”) is to ascertain the condition of a ship’s hull (including cargo compartments, rigging, etc.) in order to ascertain it any damage has been sustained during the charter period, so that liability therefore held by the charterer may be clearly identified.
In addition, NKKKI also offers a survey to ascertain the quantities of bunker oils remaining on board at the time of delivery and re-delivery in the charter period so that a chartered ship may be smoothly delivered or re-delivered between the shipowner and charterer.
Besides, NKKKI offers various marine surveys such as (a) condition survey of hull & propulsion machinery for transfer of ownership, (b) navigational issues incident to malfunction and/or failure of cargo handling machinery, and (c) any other marine accident.
